With all the art quilts piling up, I have been happy to make small works for the various Studio Art Quilt Associates benefit auctions. I like the organization, and I'm particularly impressed with how, well, organized it is. Over time I have been juried into several global and local exhibitions, so I feel good about donating.
This month is the Spotlight Auction, with over 350 small quilts, 6" x 8" (15.2cm x 20.4cm), divided into sections. My Paul Klee-inspired piece, Moon Song is part of the event, placed in section 3, which has a closing time and date at 7:45pm EDT (4:45 PDT) on April 25. In general, the minimum bid is $25, starting April 15, 2026, with ten days to keep bidding $5 more until the final day, April 25. You can also place a maximum bid so it automatically bids for you.
