A torn corrugated cardboard box sparked this triad of torn textiles. I thought they might be "war torn" since they look like countries, but that seemed a bit too much. Torn can be torn between places, people, emotions; and torn implies conflict. An uneasy stance between the straight quilted lines and the organic-shaped hole, the prescribed and the natural, perhaps. Emotionally frayed.
