We visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium a few times each year and always see something new. But I, like so many other people, keep going back to see the non-releasable southern sea otters, who are part of a unique program of foster moms who teach stranded or injured pups how to be an otter. Current moms are Selka and Ivy. Ruby is a companion, and Opal is the newest and youngest addition, still learning how to be an otter ambassador. You can watch the otters from 7am - 7pm PT on the live cam here.
Continuing to use up scraps with the current piecing and joining process, I'm adding the otters (who I created in Spoonflower as "Otter Dreams" and is available in my shop here) to the mix.
