A combination of some commercially printed cloth of a world map originally purchased in 2023 for “Count Zero Point One” (and later included recently in “Breaking News from the Sea”), remnants from my quilt “Tempest” and a cascade of scraps of a red Japanese yarn-dyed cloth leftover from something I don’t remember, came together as a visual comment and expression of the chaotic and dangerous world today.
