Art Quilt: Among the Redwoods

Blake Garden in Kensington, CA is a compressed natural wonderland tucked into a residential neighborhood. I know I have written about it before in this post from 2021. I make a point to go up the hill from my house to see the magnolias and search for the hummingbirds, often nesting within them. In addition to the more formal garden and pools a tiny redwood forest awaits, complete with stream and sculptures. On a recent trip, a friend pointed out a Japanese maple incongruously among the redwoods. And so, this quilt.
