Every year Studio Art Quilt Associates holds an auction of small quilts, all of them twelve inches square. I've been enjoying making a small quilt to donate for each auction, and this year I've donated "Dancing in the Dark," which I wrote about here.

The auction is divided into three sections, one per week. My quilt is listed in Section 1, which runs September 14 through September 20, 2026. It's a reverse bidding schedule with a "buy now" price only.
It goes like this: On September 11, all quilts are $1000. For the sections, each day the quilt has not been purchased, the price decreases: 750 (Monday) / 550 (Tuesday) / 350 (Wednesday) / 250 (Thursday) / 150 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). And 100.00 after that until October. Once you put the quilt into your cart, it's yours! Waiting is a risk!
