Begun in August 2025, this egg has taken seven months to hatch. My little enchanted eggs, (story of their inspiration is here) filled with garnet emery or sand, and about the size of a hen’s egg, take about a day or two (some are still available at nevermindtheart). This ostrich-sized egg has demanded many more sittings. And it rattles. On purpose.
