Art Quilt: Undersea Forest

Thinking about the three colors of flashe paint that I bought brought me back to the kelp stencil I had made and used in Kelp Portrait and the Garibaldi fish who live within the kelp, used in Home. As I continued to write, kelp is a keystone species, providing food and shelter for the creatures under the sea, transforming CO2 into oxygen as a rainforest does on land.
