This, too, was initially part of the exploration for the magpie quilt that hasn’t been made yet. I used [Amazon link] Sulky Ultra Solvy after laying out small scraps on three larger, letterpress printed pieces left from the 2018 quilt, Undersea Colonies, and machine quilted them in place with metallic gold thread. One more step activated the work further: just a little shift.
